Summary:  Alpha Lipoic Acid is a great supplement to help support the body’s antioxidant defense system.  Because it is considered a universal antioxidant, it has a much greater ability to build a complete defense system versus other supplements that claim to. Loaded with 100 mg of ALA per tablet, it also has the ability to produce energy from proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, thus supporting the body to maintain proper glucose metabolism.  Individuals should take 1 tablet of ALA twice daily with meals.
